Degrade
histamine
at the source.

A patented bi-enzymatic platform pairing vegetal DAO with Catalase to degrade excess histamine down in the gut — not block it at the receptor. A root-cause approach for the next generation of antihistamine therapeutics.

Histamine · imidazole ring vDAO + CATALASE imidazole-acetaldehyde FIG.01 / HISTAPHARM
The problem

Excess histamine drives a class of conditions that current therapies only mask.

01

Histamine intolerance

Bloating, migraines, flushing, and brain fog after meals — driven by inadequate DAO activity in the gut.

02

Chronic urticaria & Mast Cell Activation Syndrome

Recurring hives and mast cell activation flares that classical H1 blockers cannot resolve at the source.

03

Intestinal bowel syndrome & gut inflammation

Histamine-mediated visceral hypersensitivity that overlaps with — and complicates — irritable bowel syndrome.

04

Antihistamine fatigue

Sedation, dry mouth, and dependence — symptoms persist because root histamine load is never reduced.

The solution

Two enzymes. One coordinated cleavage.

Vegetal DAO (vDAO) oxidizes histamine into imidazole acetaldehyde. Catalase, working in tandem, neutralizes the resulting hydrogen peroxide — leaving no inflammatory residue. The pathway runs naturally in healthy intestines; we restore it.

  • Acts at the gut barrier — pre-systemic
  • Stable plant-derived DAO with no animal sourcing
  • Clean degradation — no receptor blockade, no sedation

How it works

From raw enzyme to formulated therapeutics — a single integrated pathway.

01 — Source

Plant-derived DAO

Sustainable extraction procedure from legume seedlings — no animal-derived enzymes.

02 — Pair

Catalase association

Pairing with catalase prevents H₂O₂ accumulation during oxidative deamination.

03 — Stabilize

Enteric protection

Proprietary matrix preserves enzyme activity through the gastric environment.

04 — Act

Intestinal release

Targeted release at jejunum-ileum-colon where histamine accumulates.

05 — Resolve

Cleared metabolites

Inert breakdown products excreted naturally — no receptor antagonism, no rebound.

Differentiation

Where conventional antihistamines stop, our enzymatic platform begins.
